📌 BOARD RECRUITING | CCI-LEX is looking for individuals who are passionate about empowering newcomers with the language skills and community connections they need to succeed to join our Board of Directors & committees. Note: deadline for both positions is April 1, 2024. 

 

📌 About: The Cultural Connections Institute – The Learning Exchange provides flexible and accessible English language classes for adult newcomers with an emphasis on community-building | cultural exchange. We are also a registered charity based in downtown Edmonton, changing the lives of thousands of newcomers since 2003. 

 

📌 Currently the CCI-LEX Board of Directors & Fund Development & Community Engagement Committee are recruiting new members. These are volunteer positions that play important roles in supporting our work and the long-term success of the organization. We are seeking individuals from a variety of backgrounds and experiences to reflect the diversity of our community. 

 

📌 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work well in small groups, and previous experience with non-profits and/or non-profit boards, adult education, immigration, language or settlement sectors are considered assets.
