Abstract: Reporting to the Director, Crisis and Navigation Support Services, the Senior Operations Coordinator Crisis and Navigation Support Services is responsible for supporting service delivery of the 211 and Distress Line programs by providing senior level administrative support and high-level quality assurance monitoring. The Senior Operations Coordinator will be responsible for analyzing program data and preparing reports on trends, data analysis of trends, writing reports for internal and external stakeholders, report writing work plan and project tracking, and managing of special projects using project management principles.  Success will depend on using all applications of Office 365 efficiently and working confidently in a highly technical work environment. 

Qualifications/Experience: CMHA-Edmonton recognizes that candidates all have different skills and experiences to offer. While we are highlighting desired qualifications in the following sections, it is not a checklist. · Grade 12 Diploma (relevant post-secondary certificate or diploma preferred) · Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior administrative support role where coordination of activities was a significant part of the position · Experience includes working with collaborations and project administration · Acceptable attainment and maintenance of a Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check and an Intervention Record Check · Attainment and maintenance of a First Aid certification · Attainment and maintenance of a Mental Health First Aid certification. 

Skills/Abilities: Strong interpersonal, verbal|written communication skills · Ability to work independently, set priorities, meet deadlines, and allocate time and resources effectively · Organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, a high degree of accuracy, and excellent time management and prioritization skills · Ability to deal effectively with the other staff, the public, stakeholders, and community agencies and maintain good relations · Ability to work effectively in a multi-program & multi-task environment · Ability to deal with challenging situations and work with individuals with diverse personalities · Ability to effectively use MS Office and to work with databases · Possess a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
