A New View of God and its Effects on WellBeing | Date: Sunday, Nov.08, 2020 | Time: 2:00pm. | Register for online here: www.csedmonton.org (or) attend a live viewing at First Church of Christ, Scientist (10810-100 Ave.) or listen by phone. |||

ABOUT: Given up on religion? Is God a mystery? Learn how a new and changed perspective of God can bring healing and wholeness. International speaker Phillip Hockley relates how Christian Science gave him a new view of God that transformed his life. A view of God as Love itself, divine Love that loves us fully and equally.

He also discovered that this loving God was not the source of his troubles, but the solution to them. Hockley, in presenting his talk, will draw on concepts from the Bible, especially Christ Jesus' life and teachings, as well as explanations from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, the text book of Christian Science written by Mary Baker Eddy.

About: Phillip Hockley is a practitioner of Christian Science healing and a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. After a healing through Christian Science of a debilitating injury which was diagnosed as rendering him permanently disabled, Hockley was compelled to share the source of his healing with others dealing with similar physical challenges, discouragement & doubt. He says that the ability to love and be loved by God is the message he seeks to convey in his talks.
